Malaysia Cuisine Food Review: Marco's Pizza @ Kelana Jaya ...

Italian delicacies have always been a major part of Malaysian food culture, whether its pizzas, steaks, chops, fries, and even fast food chains, Malaysians loved every load of it. Marco's Pizza in Taman Bukit Emas @ Kelana Jaya offers a variety of delicacies & they where even reviewed in the Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan show.

In terms of price, food here cost a bit of a more premium price ranging from RM 20 to 50. So be prepared as it will cost an average of RM 30 for standard main course with a drink. Don't worry, you will get your money's worth in terms of ingredients used and serving portion

We started off with tomato bruschetta as the appetizers, Sliced bread topped off with a mixture tomatoes, olive oil, basil, and garlic.?It was heavy tasted with the freshness of juicy diced tomatoes. The bread was not my favourite though as i felt the bread did not went well with the tomatoes compared to other brushchettas I tried.

Nothing is incomplete without trying their?signature?Marco's Pizza. You have a choice of either thick crust or thin crust for your pizza. This pizza was baked with the elements of shredded turkey ham, country chicken eggs, mozerella cheese, and napolitana sauce. I loved the idea of the country chicken egg in the middle of the pizza. However, I felt it was too cheesy for me as I could not consume more than 3 slices of the pizza.

The signature creme wild mushroom soup tasted nice as you can the essence of wild mushroom blending in.

The star of the meal was this huge lamb shank cooked for at least a few hours to bring its softness. Served with a side salad and stew vegetables, the portion was huge and was I am tempted to savour its goodness down to every last bit ! ohnonomnomom !

A cold ice blended mango without excessive sugar was good as it was full of natural mango goodness.

A refreshing iced lemon tea which tasted new as it has a orangy taste to it.

I seen alot mix reviews about this place, they may not be in the top list, but I applaud them for trying to revolutionize some their cooking concept. The shop is big though, do not worry of table waiting sessions here.
