101 Mobility Franchise Opens Along Gulf Coast

Covington, LA (PRWEB) June 01, 2012

Chris and Cathy Hunter of Mandeville have opened the newest 101 Mobility franchise, operating along the Gulf Coast of Louisiana and Mississippi. 101 Mobility Gulf Coast will primarily serve the Greater New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Mississippi Gulf Coast markets with comprehensive personal mobility solutions for both home and business.

The Hunters have lived in the New Orleans area for the past 25 years, and bring with them years of professional experience. Chris Hunter, a Navy veteran who attended the University of Oklahoma, has worked in industrial and consumer sales. Cathy Hunter comes from a long career in healthcare, working in medical sales and management for Johnson and Johnson for the past two and a half decades. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from Tulane.

The Hunters recognize the desire for the aging population to seek solutions that allow for them to age in place. The baby boomer population aging, coupled with the multitude of raised homes in the area, provides a great opportunity to fill a need to make homes more accessible, says Chris Hunter. We look forward to generating creative mobility solutions for the communities in the Gulf Coast region.

Chris and Cathy bring with them a solid work ethic, and a commitment to their community. They believe above all else, that it is critical to treat people with honesty and integrity, and to work hard for all of their clients. Our business philosophy is to do the right thing, always, says Cathy Hunter.

The Hunters stated that one of the most exciting things about owning their own business is the opportunity to be home every night as a family with their 15 year-old twins ? a son and a daughter, since heavy travel was a requirement of Cathy?s former career. In their free time, the Hunters enjoy sailing, art, horticulture, reading, and volunteering for groups like Habitat for Humanity; but above all else, spending time with family. Many of their weekends are spent watching their daughter?s softball team. Regarding their decision with 101 Mobility specifically, the Hunters really liked the brand and the energy that the company possesses. We are excited to be part of the 101 Mobility Team,? said Cathy Hunter. ?The company is progressive and forward thinking.

101 Mobility Gulf Coast will focus on helping clients age-in-place by selling, installing, and servicing ramps, stair lifts, automobile lifts, patient lifts, vertical lifts, barrier-free baths and offering complete home modifications to incorporate total accessibility solutions. 101 Mobility is one of the nation?s largest sellers and installers of personal mobility products from well-known brands such as Bruno, Harmar, Liko, and many more.

101 Mobility is the franchising worlds first full-service sales, service, and installation provider of a complete line of mobility and accessibility products and equipment, including stair lifts, auto lifts, ramps, porch lifts, patient lifts, power wheelchairs, scooters and more. Short and long-term rentals are also available for home, office, and institution. By working with patients to identify which home health care devices best suit each individuals needs, 101 Mobility provides an alternative to group homes and rehabilitation centers by allowing patients to live self-sufficiently in their homes.
