Perfection, elegance, and balance qualities that are hard to achieve in symmetrical games and even more difficult to achieve in an asymmetrical games yet one game company specializes in doing just that. Sirlin Games was founded in 2005 by David Sirlin with the goal of creating premium, designer, asymmetric games and they have obtained that goal admirably. Flash Duel, Puzzle Strike, and Yomi are games that are fun, challenging, and full of personality! Yet?Sirlin Games is constantly seeking perfection, refusing to rest on their laurels, and constantly evolving the gameplay of these 3 core franchises.
Puzzle Strike: Shadows along with the 3rd edition of the base game are set to release to retail channels this October 28th. This new edition is the result of years of further playtesting and development to bring this game to a razors edge of balance so it can be serious tournament worthy game while still keeping it friendly and very enjoyable to new players! An amazing game with thousands of playtests but teachable? in only a few minutes. Definitely a hallmark of a classic game.
Fans of Sirlin Games are also very family with the classic gameplay of Yomi. A game that somehow combines a very simple mechanic with classic gameplay reminiscent of classic arcade games like Street Fighter II to create a memorable card game that can be enjoyed by many.
